I LOVE TO SNACK. Really! it does not stop! How to loose weight that way? Well snack the right way! Or least the healthier way. (Sometime i do snack on fried popiah, banana fritters....and more..hey im Singaporean!)
I always watch the people in other countries raving about healthy snacks that can be found at their nearest supermarket. And living in a food paradise island, i need to do extra research to know whats good to eat PLUS its healthy. I am no pro when it comes to nutrition facts. I didn't do fantastic in my home-economic class back in secondary school either. Thats me on the extreme right!
However, I do know that healthier choice logo was invented for a reason. Heres what i plucked out from their website.
"This category includes plain biscuits and cookies, crisps, ice-cream and plain cakes. Products which are eligible for the HSS are individually packed in small portions according to serving sizes reflected on the Nutrition Information Panel, and they are generally lower in fat, saturated fat, sodium or sugar compared to regular products."
SO!!! That is why with this logo printed on certain products, i fully trust that the product was already checked and certified, the healthier way.
So, my TOP 5 SNACK BEGINS!
I do not have images of them because all of them are either in my office or needed to buy fresh. So since im blogging form my bed, i can only extract photos from the world wide web.
FIRST on my list!
They are crunchy, yummy, not too sweet plus filling. I present you, my new found favourite.
OAT KRUNCH SNACKS! caution: Not all flavours has the healthier choice logo. Two of them I found were the strawberry blackcurrant and the oatmeal. The chocolate one does not have a logo. I think it has a little more sugar to quality for the logo.

SECONDLY,
Nature's Wonders Almond & Cashew Nuts
I realise, since i love chips, i prefer crunchy snacks. They gave me the best satisfaction ever. So nuts are definitely it for me. I know these are amongst the priciest in the market, but boy do they taste good PLUS it really can replace your meal. (which obviously i didnt do-haha!)
THIRDLY,
My favourite fruit. The whole office knew this. And it is GUAVA. Another crunchy agent~ My favourite guava? Thai guavas! They are alot smaller and oh so sweet. I do not take them with the salt.
I was lucky to have a stall near my office who sells these. And i love every bite of it.
Heres the benefits for your body :http://www.streetdirectory.com/food_editorials/health_food/fruits/guava_health_benefits_of_guava.html
FOURTH item is....
there is only two reasons why i snack. Either its 4pm and my mouth is itchy to bite onto something, or i am hungry. So if I am hungry, this is what i grab the most.
Banana. Mind you the banana has to be this long and yellow. I do not like the short and bruised banana. haha! Talk about class~ Banana always makes me full and helps me with my bowel business too. It just never fails. I love love love it!
My FINAL snacks which i love to reach for is,
JACOB low salt high fiber cracker.
When i first ate this, it does not even have a taste. Its just full of biscuit and wheat kinda flavour. But after a while it grew on me. I eat this alot. Some of my colleagues do not prefer this for tea time because they say it taste like granny's biscuits and that theres no flavour. But hey! It works!
Heres the thing about snacking guys. Do not deprive yourself from snacking just because you want to loose those pounds. The art of snacking helps you prevent yourself from being hungry throughout the day. And when that happens, you start feasting on every meals you get. Snacking is fine but take it in moderation. I snack and drink green tea together. I give and take in every given situations. If you have too much to snack, try lightening up your dinner for that day.
Ultimately, it has becomce a habit for me. I snack 2 times a day. I drink coffee once a day. And then i drink water or green tea. I hope this inspires you and if you have any better suggestions for healthy snacks, share it with us down below ya!
I thank you for reading!

I "HAPPENED" to be at Tangs because my gf wants to get the brows done at Shu Uemura. Well it all started that way doesn't it? I was browsing through the products of course since there was only one BA at the counter and she was busy plucking my gf's brows. So i ventured out on a role to learn more about Shu Uemura's products. I love the extension range of blushes! They range from purples, light pinks, bluish tone pinks to an array of corals! None of the blushes are packed with too many fancy glitters. They were nice to see and to touch too! One of the blush caught my attention. DIRECT attention. It was the vivid orange. The colour is super vibrant and i can't help but to swatch it. It was a major love at first sight. Nothing like what i had in my drawers. It is almost like expensive pink but slightly darker.
After the BA put it on me, I was sold instantly. It just made me look radiant and brightens my face after a day of hard work! Loves it! However, the price is not on a friendly side. If you can see below, you need to purchase the packaging in order to carry the blush around. Otherwise, if you have palletes like the Z palettes, this might be good to pop right in there without to pay the addition $14.00.
I NEED the packaging because im always on the go. I need this blush with me wherever I go. And that additional $14 was actually a good investment because i brought it out alot of time and i love how mini and light it is.
On to the brows, I was torn in between MAC or shu uemura. And so i thought i wanted to give this highly raved pencil a try. It is funny how it seems like there is no colour coming out from it when you swatch, but when you stroke it on your brow hairs, it fills it up in a way looking like brow hairs! I like the pencil because it gave me the natural hairs i need on my brows. It does not have a wax on the pencil like many brow pencils do so it does not look too "uniformed". The result is deinitely natural and it accentuates your brow hairs and shape.
this is how it looked despite my oily face. I was trying to show you how it looked like at the end of the day. Oh! to add on, it does not oxidise too making my brows look darker at the end of the day.
And so we received samples because together, my gf and I accumulated more than $120 worth of products. So we split the freebies to try their products! In addition to that, thanks to Charlene for "over-purchasing" (haha) we both received the Shu Uemura membership card!
SELAMAT HARI RAYA! Well we are passing the third week of raya and i have yet to post up what i wore that particular day! It was only two days that i wore full on make up so here it is! This year, we went bright pink! Any hue of pink to be exact. Every year we try to get clothes similar in colour or at least tints and shades of the colour. I got my clothes and im happy to be able to fit in many of the clothes easily this year!
First day! HOT PINK!
Me and sis looking all fine as hell! haha!
Since the second day i had an open house I did not apply thatmuch make up so i did not capture my face. PLUS i was super busy running around, i looked like a hot mess. So this was the third day. Here goes!
Heres us while waiting for dad to pick up the car.
it was spectacular! EXCITING! Fashionable! Everything Fabulous! Great local production by Glen Goei. I love the drama, the continuity, the performance, the chemistry and of course the glitters and blings! i get excited just the thought of this show. The songs they sang that i still humm till today. Great artiste too! i attended La Cage with my girlfriends not too long ago and I was inspired to do a make up look ala La Cage~
Its the lashes, the lips, the smokey eyes. i am in love. It reminds me of the lead actor. Ivan Heng. Fantastic acting!
So heres the my face of the day!
On my lips, they looked like this. Lip swatch i say!
My personal favourite has to be no.8. i have never had a perfect red for an olive skintone. It has just the right shade of red and orange undertone to it. I am in love and i always feel extra sexy wearing that! No.10 is the top left corner, No. 15 is the bottom left and No. 8 is the bottom right.

My colleagues and I had such a great feast!
The inevitable GREAT food!
Anyway, my favourite part of it all. Seeing my curve smoothen out. Don't get me wrong, I had my curves previously and I loved it. But seeing my body shaped up and my butt firmed up makes me wanna work even harder.
