Review: 10 blush palette

There are two kinds of 10 blush palettes sold online.

One of them is for fairer skin.

The other one is for tan to dark skin.

I got the obvious palette (picture above) from http://angelinajoyce.wordpress.com/ at S$ 23.00. The reason why I wanted to get this is to be able to use it on the people I do make up for, to play around with different colour as blushes and more! Well, really do I need a reason to? Anyway, here is the 10 swatches on my cheeks on how the colour look like. There are many reviews on this blush showing swatches on their hand, but i think swatches on the cheek is a much helpful way to see whether which colours work on me.

If you can see out of 10, basically 01 did not show up on me, and the other one was very very intensely chalky ( left side, 3rd from the bottom). Does this blushed measure to expectation? $ 2.30 each on blushes, is it really good? Does it last?

Here is the answer:

- The blushes aren't all chalky.

- Applying the blushes is a breeze.

- They are pigmented.

- They blend really well with my foundation.

- Some shimmery blushes gave me a pretty sheen.

- A good palette to mix colours to give you the perfect colour.

- Long lasting? I would say a good 6 hours.

HOWEVER,

i do feel a bit itchy after i applied this on my cheeks. Does not happen all the time or is it just me.

I am not sure but i need to highlight that if you do have sensitive skin, try to avoid this. If you do not know whether this will work or not, swatch it on your arm or chin and see if it tickles. :)

So all in all, I would recommend to my viewers to get it if you would like to play with different blushes which compliments your skintone. I would recommend it to aspiring make up artist. Its all in one. And I would recommend it to whoever who has planned to get this but was waiting for my review :)

XOXO!

Pros:

- It is pigmented. You can never go wrong applying this eyeshadow.

- They are highly blendable. You do not need a blending brush to blend them out. Even with your fingers, you can do so.

- The colours are eally unique. None of the eyeshadows can be dupable because of the different finishes they have.

Cons:

- It is very expensive.

- The eyeshadow does tend to crease a little for me.

- The glitters drop out like nobody business.

- The 24 hr pencils are bad. It fades and smudges real bad.
