ON A HOT sunny saturday, W=we were on a mission to just WINDOW SHOP! And i guess i failed to do so. It was exciting the first time..but i gotta get the last item on this post. JUST HAD TO! Anyway, I was shocked milani had it all GOING ON! New arrivals! Great WHITE lighting which attracts me like a fly and a light bulb! Hahahah! Anyway, look at those stuffies! I managed to get pictures! I am soooo going to get the concealer next month...

They are so expensive! Do you know, in USA, milani are just like any drugstore products, selling at dirt cheap price! And over in Singapore, it cost almost close to MAC! But, again, the product  never fails. Great quality. I definitely loves the ligloss! Oh, may i add, i think STARDUST really needs to have more tissues around! Tissues are like GOLD there! Its crazy!omG!!! WHEN i first saw this, i was like OMG! I GOTTA HAVE IT! aT $12.25?! A BEAUTIFUL COMPACT which i was regretting not getting it from last year's holiday set! I always wanted one for myself! The packaging is just lovely! This is such a steal! You could choose your own tone too. Get it whilst stocks last ok!

As usual, I will play around with my make up as and when i like. AND I found a DUPE!! I love it when i find dupes, because it allows my readers to get a cheaper alternative! So, here it is, MAC DEEP TRUTH! A very popular blue eyeshadow. Great for smokey looks!

Milani RUNWAY Eyeshadow in Blue Lagoon cost $20.90. You better get it fast because the Singapore Sale(20-30% off) will be off soon! It is great for both wet and dry application. I could not point out any flaws from either of them! :)

We had so much fun that instead of watching movies and slumbering the night off, we ended up sleeping...Was so tired from being so hyped up about this makeover. eheheheh!... Here are your viewing pleasure...

Isnt she gorgeous?!!! Well, shes already talking about getting married. This would be a preview make up for her. Hehehe! She gave me 2 years to buck up and do her make up on her wedding day....URGHHH!.. I applied falsies on her and she LOVES IT! She claims it looks rather slutty...and yes she loves sluttiness...ahahah! She always wear gold eye make up. So, I thought her on how to use the colours which was untouchable ever since she bought it. I proof her wrong, by using purples on her eyes. It really tones her down.. She look pretty and nicer..in a way..ahhaha!

I was browsing through my eyeshadow drawer, and I saw my much loved milani eyeshadows sitting there asking for attention. So, I picked them up and swatched them for fun. And then I realized, that the Milani Bronze Doll eyeshadow was looking a bit like Amber lights! So, I put them side by side, and i was so shocked to know they are so similar! ARGH! i bought the same colour which I already have! Great on diana. Way to go! I told you lovelies that I was going to really make my first MAC eyeshadows a good one, but yeah, Very gay of me. Anyway, aside from being paranoid, I was glad enough to find a dupe for MAC. Everybody loves dupes! Especially comparing to the great MAC. So here it is. Yes, you can see that Amber Lights has more intensity in the colour swatched. But both of them are the same colour. So, if you do not want to spens $26 on a MAC eyeshadow, milani is a great dupe which cost $20.90. At least you save $5.10 which you can save! So, till then ladies, im on a search for a better lid colour. I find amber lights too bronzy for me. I don't know. whadya think?Don't mind my oily face. This was taken at the end of the day before I washed my face. Is this tooo coppery bronzey?! I was shocked!

Product:

My take:

Most of you can tell just by looking at the photos that they are highly pigmented, whether its wet or dry. I did not just spray water on my brush to make it wet, i used my homemade mixing medium to lock down the colour to prevent fading throughout the day. These eyeshadows are so pigmented. I could not stress this more. It is 2.1g each and they are all very shimmery. It does not come off very glittery or too chunky but it glides on smoothly on your lids, wet or dry. However, my problem with this eyeshadow is that its very fragile. I saw a lot of the testers items broke and unfortunately I have one broken too when I drop it. It was devastating. Back to the product, i have alot of fall out from this product. All around my cheek area. So, i use my eye make up first and then proceed to face. I love the fact that its not chunky glitters and it just are shimmers to add the glitz n glamour~ I will really recommend in having this as part of your eyeshadow collection OR if you want to get something shimmery and last long, this would be a good product. For SGD$20.90, its affordable yet you pay alot for the quality.

I was really REALLY inspired by VANESSA's milani look. I love milani. Its the best dupe for MAC. In my own opinion. So, when i came across this look. Immediately i told myself I NEED TO GET those and do the inspired look! So, here is my take on the green and gold using Milani's RUNWAY eyeshadows. Tell me what you think about it. Enjoy! :)

So, as you all know on my previous post, JOHN LITTLE has 20% off for cardmembers. But, no worries to non-card members, you get to enjoy 10-15% off any beauty products. It was an advantage for me as L.A Girl has 15% off + 20% off as I am a card member holder which is a total of 35% OFF! HOW DOPE IS TAT! So, I already marked out prices which are after discounts. I got one more Milani e/s as I want to create a look which Vanessa did and may i add that MILANI e/s are so pigmented! So worth my money. And, as usual, I crave for blushes. I dont eat them of course, but I love blush. The bf followed me as i swatched d products, and he loves following me because, he get to help me swatch products! So, he did his routine as usual, helping me get the right blush. I had over 11 colours of different brands on my hands and arms..which result to a satisfying BUY! The sales promoter even add that L.A Girl blushes, contain Vitamin E in them. Which is great. So, i had a fun time, with all the bargain prices I get to indulge. :)

AND MY MILANI E/S IS BROKEN into million pieces! It fell when I was trying to put it in my traincase. I was so shattered i sat and just closed my mouth and stared at the broken pieces. I sent a picture of the broken e/s to my bf and he called me immediately saying " its ok...i will buy for you one more"..How sweet. So, I planned to buy rubbing alcohol tomorrow but I cant seem to take my eyes off my e/s. It's so sad how lovely it looked in the dome-like packaging. Then it came to me, to take off all the broken pieces and fill my empty jars so that i could use it as pigments or i could add some alcohol and depot it on a pan. But here are the pics. I felt better now that its neatly seperated. :)
