Charlene & I planned the night earlier to head to the sale after seeing the FB post from Shiseido Singapore. She was excited for the Shiseido Skincare range and I, the Nars sale. It is the first NARS sale in Singapore since they've launched.

We queud a good 1 hour before the sale and they were about 06 girls in front of us. Once the door was opened, we were all ready to head in. The first stop I went to was the NARS counter. People were charging the Cle de Peau Beaute counter since they have good great deals. Saving $500 for a set of skincare range is really no joke. Anyways, my total damaged was $130 and I only got 04 items. Compared to Estee Lauder's sale which I went last April,I did get more quantity from the sale at the same price.

Also if I may add, Shiseido should see how Estee Lauder handles and run their sale. It is much more organized, prices are stated clearly to avoid having the people behind the counters to answer to everyone screaming and yelling on how much the products are. Also, its better to have sign and display of the products according to categories so that it is much more organized and people dont go frantics. I went to 04 Estee Lauder sale and so far, in terms of product knowledge, prices ranges and product handling, went very smooth and was very organized. Just my 2 cents.

On to my haul!

I saw a couple of duo eyeshadows and nail polishes but these products caught my attention. I always have my NARS wishlist with me and the two main products are the Casino Bronzer and Galapagos eyeshadow. I swatched it and fell in love. So without knowing the price (Which does not happen very often,  me being disillusional) I took them and put them in my plastic bag. I have always been a fan of bright lipsticks, so you can bet I helped myself with the lipstick!

Then, I always wanted to try this but never get to buy it because it cost just too darn much. And so, knowing it was only $50 a bottle, I bought one. I know I should have bought two...or three... haha! Silly me. Oh wells, it was a happy buy!

Who would ever thought, another sale was waiting for me....

On to my Watson Haul. I bought mostly essential products but I am excited for the make up stuffs though! Lets scroll down shall we?

Spot on! Start right smack with the cosmetic products! These products have 25% discounts on them and hence I enjoyed greater savings!

These are the products I bought:

- Maybelline Volume Express Mascara Cat Eyes
- Revlon Photoready BB cream in 003 Medium
- Maybelline Fashion Brow Mascara in Brown
- ZA Eyebrow pencil in Natural Brown
- Maybelline Watershine in P22

My skin is rather dry nowadays despite the humid weather. I thought I would try this cute packs and see how it works and hopefully my skin gets more supple and less dull due to all the dry skin!

Here are the swatches!

Maybelline Watershine Lipstick in P22

Review: Maybelline The Falsies Mascara

I recently bought this at BHG for 20% off on post-christmas sale day. I have been wanting to try it just because i saw it being highly raved by many youtuber in the US. At $16.70 i felt lucky owning it, rather than paying $20.90 for it.

The packaging is super cute. The colour is amazing plus it is slighter than many mascaras i owned. The brush however IS VERY UNIQUE. Apart from the normal wand, it helps to seperate my lashes and coat each and every "hair" i have which makes my lashes looked "fanned-out".  Litterally like a fake lash.Yes the wand is flimsy! In my own experience, I think the flimsy handle of the wand makes the lashes much more natural. In a way it does not encourage too much products amongst your lashes. Well thats at least what i felt. It felt like i was wearing ardell lashes. That was how soft my lashes are. Truly unique.
So here are the images which was captured to show you what i meant.

Fanned out hello!I am trully amazed and such a great fan of this mascara. I look forward to applying it every morning which i never had such determination to do so. haha! It gave me such long luscious lashes which i got compliments of! I love it!

See what i mean? Plus on a side note, after a whole day of long wearing, this lashes does not droop an inch. It does not bleed on my under eye nor does it come off with water. I tried bathing with the lashes and yes its still on. Which in fact a fake lashes would have came off! haha!

So my verdict is definitely

Try it to believe it!

Once again! Thanks for reading!

I had found my HG eyeliner which is the Red Earth Gel Liner which can be found in Sasa.

Who introduced me to this product right here? I was at KL with my sister and i forgot my eyeliner. So i took her newly bought eyeliner form her make up pouch and wore it that day. It was hot and humid at KL, swetaing like mad cow and at the very end of the day, i saw that my eyeliner didnt budge! So here it is. The amazing eyeliner which worked for my oily lids other than my gel liner.

You can buy this at Watson, Mustafa is priced at $1 off, Sasa, John Little and more.

The packaging is very appealing. Black with yellowish gold sprayed on its cap. It is too lightweight, almost feels like it does not have any product in it. It has a very thin felt tip on it which makes application very precise. You can even draw dots with this baby. All i had to do was press the tip against my lash line and just create a mini line on my eyes. I like that it is neat and dry easily. It has no scent to it too.

It last a good 10 hours for me and it does not smudge on me which i am very impressed. Coming from Maybelline? Its definitely a product one must look at! I recommend it to my mom who has smaller lids than me, she find drawing eyeliner a breeze every morning to work. YEY!

This is one of those pick up products that i really did right. The mascara is awesome, eyeliner didnt smudge, the foundation in amazing and the primer just impresses me. I did everything right!

I bought this from the BH Cosmetic spree (icefrostsprees.onsugar.com) and it cost me I think about less than $4 per pan. If i am not wrong.

Check out my candy yum tutorial using all these 5 wonderful colours.

Illamasqua Matt Primer ( which might just be my HG primer)...Wait till I review on it. I need more time! :)

Shiseido SPF Liquid Foundation in SP50. It came with a sponge I have no clue how to use it with that. But I am loving applying this with my fingers. Amazing amazing amazing.

So I love all these products. Been using it and been enjoying what it does for me!

Review: Maybelline Volum Express Turbo Boost Mascara Waterproof

What a mouthful of words for my title! I am excited to review on this mascara which I have recently decided to repurchase because I was having a bad mascara days and I needed a mascara revamp!!! Initially I wanted to get the Lancome Hypnose Mascara and I thought its ridic to fork out $40+ for a mascara! I remembered a few years ago, i never changed my make up because i was playing safe. And remembered this mascara which never fails me.

What was I finding?

Volume, Thickness. Length and waterproof. This products just shouts out to me. And i purchased it.

Product Description

• Long-lasting waterproof turbo-boost formula and patented Anti-Clump Brush quickly thicken lashes for up to 5x more volume
• Contact lens safe, ophthalmologist-tested
• Waterproof, also available in Washable

Does it really work?

I can't guarantee whether it will work on you. But this mascara have done nothing but AH-Mazing result for me. As you can see on the picture, it lengthens, volumizes, clump-free and it stays curl throughout the day! I am in love. With the hot and humind weather, this product does not flake nor smudge on my eyes which many products failed on me. This mascara did not. I knew that at the end of the day, I still do look doll like and am confident that nothing smudges on me. I love this! Plus, I remembered once I wore it to shower and to my surprise, even after rubbing it with water, my lashes still am facing upright!

Was it hard to remove?

Soak it well with an oil based eye make up remover, and you will not go wrong with it.

Would I recommend it?

To beginners, to beauty geeks on a budget and to whoever who have not tried this yet!

Have you tried this mascara? How was your experience?

Review: Maybelline Pulse Perfection Mascara

Product Description

Transforms your lashes to perfection. Patent-pending elastomer brush vibrates 7,000 times per stroke. Provides clump-free definition, intense color, and shine. Waterproof; also available in washable formula. Builds lash volume, length, and adds curl. Ideal for all skin types.

How much is it?

It is initially sold at S$29.90 when it first came out in Watson late last year. I do not know why, but I can never spend $30 for a drugstore mascara. So i ignored it. I can never find a good mascara for me. Then, one day, I went to Mustafa Centre and found out that this is only $12.90!!! So without thinking much, I took it to the counter and paid for it.

Applying it.

I was curious how it will work on me. This mascara has a vibrator on the wand ( you have to press it while you apply) which helps seperate your lashes and adhere the formula better to your lashes. In simple term: you do not need to do any zig zag motion with your lashes. It does it for you. You only have to apply it from bottom to the tip of the lashes. It is that easy!

The wand is slim that it is easy to apply mascara on my mini lower lashes. The only thing i dislike about it is that, the wand is so slim that sometime it touches my tightline and that makes my eyes shut, which smudges the wet mascara on my under eye circle, which later on looked like i did not apply concealer! haha! It always happened to me!

What does the mascara do to my eyelashes?

It lengthens. It curls slightly. Seperates my lashes well. It does not clump. BUT it does not give volume. My lashes look long but thin at the same time.

Was removing it easy since it is waterproof?

You need an oil base make up remover to remove it. It is not tough to remove.

Hope this mini review helps you. Not my HG mascara I would say, but worth a try! I heard this is going to be discontinued. If you love it, stock up on it.

What is your favourite mascara which gives you volume and length?

Sharing is caring!

xoxo!
