Collective Mini Haul!

Got some mini buys on the month of AUgust! Phew! I did the least haul in August and im happy. Haha! Ya right. Anyway, these are the stuffs which i own. Firstly below is the brush set i got from magicaltannsu. She post it up on her personal blog instead. So email her if you are interested in them. So affordable and the quality of this brush is EXQUISITE! Crazily soft! And hasnt shed on me till this day.

Then, my man and I went to John Little expo sale last weekend and gotten him and myself some stuffs. I met with Fatin (Tiarabangs) to pass her partial elf stuffs and shes so sweetly gorgeous if there is any word. haha! There were alot of make up selling at 40% off. I didnt go crazy as i thought i dont need any plus i brought my financial assistance with me. haha! Anyhoo, i got myself only two stuffs. I did good.

Tadaaaa!!! hehehe! I got the SPF Sunblock lotion when i realized when i was caught in the traffic heading to the Expo, my face was heating up. It  was horrid, i thought when i reached expo, im gonna get myself the sunblock i came to know off at the Glow workshop. So i did! haha! Let me know if you need reviews yah.

And of course, a beautiful pink nude lipstick. I do not quite adore the packaging, as it slides in and out. The gold exterior encourages thumdprints which makes it look so dirty. Haha! Simple is better i guess. But boy is the lipstick PIGMENTED! Argh! i can faint! I really love the colour too! For $20, its worth it! :) I left my swatched images at home. I will add it on later tonight if you wanna see okies :)

I was at Ion earlier today, and i was impressed!! They look very delicious! I swatched it and they are surprisingly pigmented. The orange blush is great for bronzing. It remins me of Brunette MSF, but with an orangey tone to it. They are quite pricey. Hmmm everytime these prices keeps telling me, i rather get MAC instead. Are you sold in getting them?

Review: Stage Wonderluxe Satin Matte Lipstick (SGD$20)

If i could remember, the MUA at Stage did tell me once that Stage was from Germany. I may not be accurate but if you want  to read more, check them out here. Now, matte lipsticks are the enemies of flaky lips. Mine is non other. I got this just to explore and experiment out Stage cosmetics as I am curious to what is in store. If you are in Singapore, Stage cosmetics stores are at Bugis Junction beside Diva and Suntec City. Now, i heard it is in Ion as well. So I got this lipstick for only $20. If you realise, all my pictures are not watermarked. I didnt give up on editting my pictures but my macbaby is still in the hospital. Gonna fetch him this weekend. Till then, my post will be AS NAKED as it can be.

The packaging is very stylish. It is much bulkier than MAC does. Looks similar as both has black packagings. I shall not compare with MAC as I would like to credit this product as it is. I love how the packaging is fat which is great for gripping. Plus the rubebry material is nice to touch. There is a scent towards the lipstick. It smells like chocolate. NO KIDDING! Really! I loveee the smell so much, i open the container just to smell it. hahah! Anyway, apart from the packaging, i got this in Pastel Posy. Love the names given. Very interesting however.

So whats my take on this?

I have to say. To compare it with MAC Satin lipstick, it is less drying to the lips. Mac lipstick like BNB, really tore my lips apart. The stage lipstick gave a nice matte colour to your lips but it does not dry out. It glides smoothly and it is long lasting. However, i felt that i needed to apply it twice to build the colour as it is much more sheer than a MAC lipstick. But regardless, i love how the texture settles on my lips. Very comfortable. As if i am not wearing any lipstick at all. Plus they have a whole big range of matte, nude lipsticks. So for $20 lipstick, i would give Stage a good credit as it didnt dry my lips out. I am even confident to wear this without any balm beforehand.

Product Rating: 4/5

Packaging: 5/5

Would I buy again? Of course. I am going to get another shade. Smells and feels great!

Review: Revlon ColorStay Lipcolor in Natural Cashmere

I just recently bought this for $16 at omgcosmetics. And it is amazing. I have always eyed on this lipstick everytime i head to the drugstore. It cost $19.90 at retail. So you can go catch it if you want but here is my review.

"Lipstick so soft and smooth you won't believe it's long-lasting. Exclusive formula with SoftFlex™ for hours and hours of luscious, feel good color in one smooth step. Stays gorgeous, stays creamy, stays on. In 30 full-coverage and 6 sheer shades."

My hands look so dark :)

Oh, i love the colour. Isnt it pretty?

Newly Applied. Have a wet look.

Seconds later, it became matte! VOUILA!!!

My take:

This is a truly amazing lipstick. Hands down the best lipstick i have ever worn from our local drugstore. I have a very dry and flaky lips which means i need extra extra moisture on my lips. This lipstick not only feel moisturizing it is super creamy. I love the texture. It is super pigmented. I like this colour as it has a coral tone on my lips. Which goes great with my skip. You hear nothing but great stuff here.

On application, i realise it is wet when i apply it on my lips. Wet and almost semi glossy. After like about 40 seconds (no i did not time it, just estimation) it became matte. The lipstick look super GORGEOUS i am in love. It is not the typical nude lipstick i would reach out for. It is definitely a great to go look or a go-to-the beach look. Really makes my skin look fresh.

The downside of it though? It promises colorstay which last for hours. Roughly about 5 hours later, i see the lipstick almost absorbed to my lips that i only see a tint of coral on my lips. The lipstick was half gone. But who cares, i touch it up anyways and got happy again.

Product Rating: 5/5

Packaging: 4/5 Turning the lipstick was very scary as i felt it very fragile. haha!

Would i buy it again? YES! I want to get the NUDE shades which are newly launched!

REVIEW: MAC Lustre Lipstick in Freckletone

Why am i reviewing this? Because, this is a PERMANENT Lipstick available in stores! I would not do reviews on LE stuff because it beats the purposes huh~..Anyway, I love this lipstick.First,  I love Brave new bronze, then i love this!

"Freckletone

Neutral peach (Lustre)"

Sorry for the blur picture. If you can see, its a perfect skin colour for me. I love how it is nude and also MOISTURIZING! If you are a first timer Mac buyer for lipstick and you have chapped and dry lips, i suggest you start of with either slimshines, or lustres as they are highly moisturizing and has a "wet" effect which glides on smoothly and doesn't dries out :)

I got this from the MAC sale i went ealrier on and paying for $10 is definitely worth it! So here it is, if you liked the same finish and colour, i recommend you to go get it.

Product rating: 5/5

Packaging: 5/5

Would i buy it again? Yes of course! Once my brave new bronze and this run out that is :)
