Its been 4 consecutive years that i went to the Estee Lauder sale. And every year all i am finding is previous collection products that i have missed or that have their price slashed more than 50% off! The sale starts at 9am but i was already queing at 7am. When i was there, there were about 18 people infront of me. Everyone was a veteran of sales, prepared with movies uploaded in their ipad, their storybooks and some even sleeping. I can only imagine the queue back then when the Iphone 5 was launched.
It was easy to queue since i just have to sit on the carpeted floor and catch up on my beauty guru's video which i have last seen one like 4 months ago~? Once the door opens, it was a huge space. I saw tall signs labeled Estee lauder, mac, origins and the list goes on.
If i could make a comparison with last year's sale, it would have been the bobbi brown counter. There were more range last year than this year. And i realized, every foundation sold is either too pale or too dark. Nonetheless, i gave them a skip.
My budget every year was $150 and i made it within my budget since I only buy products I will use on myself or my friends and clients. So here it is!

The best buys are the brushes. Come on! $10 a pop?! That is insane. There might be defects to it but im not complaining! I really am in love with them. Anyway, here are the items out of their packaging. Great mess huh!

This collection was getting all the hyped from Youtube all the way to local magazines. I knew all i wanted was Veronica's blush. That dark pink colour will definitely suit any tan to dark skintone. 
I could not get my hands on the blush over at Ion but i sure did when i visited Tangs outlet. It was priced at $40! hello overpriced much! Oh! Did you also know that Candy yum yum is a permanent lipsticks sold at all Mac stores? Hell yeah! I had to get one of those too! Im a lover of bring lipstick. it just make me feel done And complete!

Well, as you know my sister is going to get engaged in June so i am going to be her event planner (unpaid) and her MUA (doing it on a good will and since i loved it, i did not mind). So, it is just another GREAT excuse for me to stock up and buy make ups! My main purpose was to get an eye glitter which i wanted to make her look her best that day. I wanted a tone down lightly sculpted make up and a bling-bling eye make up. So, i went to Inglot and went to explore. And i found this amazing body sparkles in no.68. It really is super fine and due to that, it goes everywhere. I was rather unhappy though at a price of RM70, thhe quantity of the product was really pathetic. Its so little! I think not even a full teaspoon. Nyeeh~
Anyway on to what I have got. They are the AMC Gel Liner in No. 82 and 84 and a Duraline. The gel liners are so creamy yet so hard to remove after swatching the back of my hand. That only mean good things. haha! Here are what they look like "exposed" from their cover.

What i bought a week before the haul was two products form MAC. it has been a while since i bought stuffs from MAC. That is because i still have so many more products left to be used up. I bought two mineralize products. One is the MSF powder in medium dark which is obviously due to the reason that i am slightly darker now due to the holidays i went last year and also a charged water which i wanted a fix + initially but was recommended this instead. She mentioned some damn goos stuff about it thats really effective and great for humid weathers PLUS making you skin supple. But i could not really remember it. So i got it off from the mac website.
I sometime skips my moisturiser and spray a good amount of charged water on my face. The scent is great. Hours later, i still feel my skin is moisturised due to it. I shall do a seperate review on it.
Made up of two different formulas. The white base that goes on black on your lashes and the volumizing formula which curls and lengthens your lashes. It has fibres to it so it makes you lashes longer than normal.
Look at what it has done to my lashes. PERFECTO!!!
I am in love with this mascara. One of my fellow viewer also shared that it is on sale at Mustafa Centre! 02 for $26.90. I am going to get my hands on them! You should too! 
So what did I get from the sale? I took the opportunity to try new things and also to stock up! I instantly went to Make Up For Ever when i knew about the sale. A MUST HAVE, are their rouge artist range. I got myself the MAT 5. I loved how mauve it looked and how natural it looked on me. Lip swatch is on the first image as shown above, extreme top left corner. THAT was when i had it on. Love love love.
It almost looked similar in real life when comapring with the MAC Cosmo lipstick, which was my HG lipstick ever but i think MAT 5 is prettier. MAC....~ move aside. 
And then, on the stock-up list, I got two of the items. The urban decay primer potion and Benefit They're Real lashes! I know i know, i told you all i hated it, but after a while i have to amdit it grew on me and it just makes my lashes looked super long PLUS it is one of the mascara i have tried that does not bleed on my under eye area. These items are really worth to buy after the sale. Taking opportunity is the key to any sale. haha! Speaking like a pro~.
Talking about opportunity, i took it up this time and caved in my temptations. Finally. I welcome you, Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer in my life, my vanity, my make up drawer. All rise. This is epic really. I wanted this for the longest time and finally i grabbed it. I got it in shade sand and i tried it on my chin earlier on and i like it. I can't wait to wear it on my face tomorrow! THIS IS A MUST DO REVIEW PRODUCT. Please remind me if i forgot. haha!
The shade that I got. I thought Almond was my shade but its too dark for me now. So best is to swatch it on my chin and see if it is the right colour for you.
Alhamdulillah, i am so blessed this year. I had an amazing time with my friends, my boyfriend and my family. I wouldnt ask for more.

YSL, Rouge Pur Courture in no.7 Le Fuschia. The name itself is self-explainatory. I love the sophisticated packaging, trust me it was breath-taking. 
This is what it looks like on me. The deboss of the brand on the lipstick is just divine.
I also received my very first Longchamp Le Pliage bag! WOW! In my favourite purple color too! Thank you so much! yipppeee!
I "HAPPENED" to be at Tangs because my gf wants to get the brows done at Shu Uemura. Well it all started that way doesn't it? I was browsing through the products of course since there was only one BA at the counter and she was busy plucking my gf's brows. So i ventured out on a role to learn more about Shu Uemura's products. I love the extension range of blushes! They range from purples, light pinks, bluish tone pinks to an array of corals! None of the blushes are packed with too many fancy glitters. They were nice to see and to touch too! One of the blush caught my attention. DIRECT attention. It was the vivid orange. The colour is super vibrant and i can't help but to swatch it. It was a major love at first sight. Nothing like what i had in my drawers. It is almost like expensive pink but slightly darker. 
After the BA put it on me, I was sold instantly. It just made me look radiant and brightens my face after a day of hard work! Loves it! However, the price is not on a friendly side. If you can see below, you need to purchase the packaging in order to carry the blush around. Otherwise, if you have palletes like the Z palettes, this might be good to pop right in there without to pay the addition $14.00. 
I NEED the packaging because im always on the go. I need this blush with me wherever I go. And that additional $14 was actually a good investment because i brought it out alot of time and i love how mini and light it is. 
On to the brows, I was torn in between MAC or shu uemura. And so i thought i wanted to give this highly raved pencil a try. It is funny how it seems like there is no colour coming out from it when you swatch, but when you stroke it on your brow hairs, it fills it up in a way looking like brow hairs! I like the pencil because it gave me the natural hairs i need on my brows. It does not have a wax on the pencil like many brow pencils do so it does not look too "uniformed". The result is deinitely natural and it accentuates your brow hairs and shape.
this is how it looked despite my oily face. I was trying to show you how it looked like at the end of the day. Oh! to add on, it does not oxidise too making my brows look darker at the end of the day. 
And so we received samples because together, my gf and I accumulated more than $120 worth of products. So we split the freebies to try their products! In addition to that, thanks to Charlene for "over-purchasing" (haha) we both received the Shu Uemura membership card!
