Well, I got it replaced! YEY! its $89.90 sold at Courts. I wanted to find a good hair dryer which protects my hair. Well if you go to a salon for a hair cut, after blow drying, your hair feels sooo soft and shiny. So the next day, when you hair dry using your normal hair dryer, your hair turns out very dry and frizzy. Do you get that? Cuz i do. So, i went to my hair stylist and ask her what is the difference. She claims that slon blow dryer has "IONIC bonds which strengthen and protects the hair from damaging even without any heat protector. They usually comes in a big size as it contains extra compounds to it. So, immediately i got mine. And i am loving it.

Look at the settings! OMG! I love how the cold air blow through my scalp. Well, this is not a review but i definitely love my first time using it. :)

This was requested by someone in the midst of commenting in one of my blog. I am sorry that i have not done many of the requested reviews just as yet but i am sure iw ill get to it yah :) So here is my say.It was given to me by my ex colleague before she left the company. So at that moment was a perfect timing as i needed to straighten my hair everyday to get my hideous curls out of the way. So every morning i would hair dry and straighten my hair to have a long lasting straight hair. I do use a heat protector from L'oreal which i will talk more soon when there are reviews requested. Anyway, it is selling at $19.90 in stores, only at Watson.

From what i hear and see from Forums and many more, alot of people hated this product claiming that it does not work. Well i say it is decent. For the price, it is one of the most inexpensive hair straighteners there is out there. And from the pric eyou have to expect an average to low quality standards.

I have used this few months back and i actually liked the result. With its simple slide up "switch on" button, the hair straightener does not have fussy timer or heat intensity built in to it. Really simple product. Heat and go!So, every morning I would switch it on before i head off to bath. And after im back, it is heated up well. Heated up so much so that when i apply it on my hair right after i have sectioned my hair and blow dry it, it kind of burns. Not in a bad way, but there literally is SMOKES coming out of my hair. I was shocked the first time i use it but after a while i realise it was not drying my hair out nor spoiling it.  Even when my boyfriend sees it, he offered to help me get some water to put it on my hair! haha!But GOD knows what is going on in my hair.

Holding the straightener was really comfy. It is very lightweight and has a good grip when you clamp it on your hair. It straightens my hair after my first try on it. My hair feels soft, maybe from my heat protector or the straightener itself. But does it last? Surprisingly, it does. Below is the before and after of my hair after straightening using the product. The end result was very satisfying, but i am afraid that the smokes coming out of my hair might be damaging to my hair. I mean obviously it would. So if i am you,i rather save a bit more to get a better brand hair straightener if you were to use it everyday. Think of your hair. It will deteriorate if you continue using such damaging product on your hair when you age.

Would I buy it again? Yes if it hadnt been for the smokes and overheating of my hair, but otherwise a no for me :)

An update on what great Fun june was! Its GREAT SINGAPORE SALE! I had been naughty. Crazily Hauling from make up to clothes to acessories! Hahaha! But i manage to sell most of my make up away too! So, kudos to me (trying to redeem myself) and thanks to whoever who bought from me. Plus I get to attend a fabulous mac workshop with such lovely companion!! Received great goodies and yes, hauling again. Though i know this was prolly the last month i could splurge, I went all out. Lust got the better of me. And I managed to have an additional of 6 followers this month! Thank you EVERYONE for following me. I feel so much better now that I am blogging. Been really stress about the spree I managed to do. But I truly am so happy with the response! I am doing much better now with the support of my readrs. I love you guys. No joke..really2...Thank you all! So yeah, here are my JUNE FAVS!!!

1) Mac MSF in Brunette: Got this at the MAC sale. And i used it ever since, as a bronzer. Now i know the wonders of bronzers. :)

2) MAC Golden Bronze Loose Powder: I LOVE THIS! I got so much compliments from this claiming that i look super fresh n glowing! Especially my mom, shes a fan. hehe!

3) MAC Satin Lipstick in Brave New Bronze: Although this dries the heck out of my lipstick, it truly is the perfect colour for my lips. You can really tell I use it alot. I apply my lip balm followed by this lipstick and its just amazing. Love the neutral nude colour it is giving. Loves~

4) Hazeline Snow Moisturiser: Ever since, i ran out of neutrogena moisturiser, i went back to my old moisturiser. The hazeline snow. This was initially used byu my Grandma right before i was born. And her skin would always be so soft and moist for me to kiss on. So, ever since then i started using it a couple of years back. Not only it is inexpensive but it does wonders with it.  It was often called as  the "cooling" cream for the face. But little did everyone know, its a great moisturiser too. No tight feeling, and it is the only moisturiser that i do not have to dap off the excess "wetness" of it. Loves it.

5) Maybelline Gel Liner in Black: I love the texture. I have never really tried gel liner. But for the first time, I felt a whole new revolution of lining my eyes. Its soft, doesnt fade or smudge. It looks and feels great as it glides on my eyes. Truly my new best friend. 

6) Watson Hair straightener: I got this from a colleague before she left our company. And i tried ever since. I wouldn't say this is a fantastic hair straightener, but I wouldn't claim that its not good either. It does its job and the heat was scary initially, leaving smokes on my hair. But it does its job perfectly, leaving my hair straight and soft throughout the day. :)

7) L'oreal Studio Hot Straight Straightening Cream: Without this, my hair would never be as soft and straight and long lasting as it can be.

8) MAC Fix Plus + Rose: This earns my second month favourite for the fact that i spray after washing my face, before i apply moisturiser to sleep. And after make up. It enhances the whole make up look. Plus great scents. Im going to miss it. My must haves.

9) MAC 181SE: I got this just cuz i need it to buffer my bronzing powder. This is so soft, it needs the credits in the world. No fall outs even when i wash. Loves :)

I mask my hair at least once a week. Usually i would mask my hair and face together. But this time, i chose to show you how i do my hair solely. Its so fun to take all these shots, you have no idea. Hahaha! We usually assume that after shampooing our hair, the hair are healthy.. But you are wrong! You might neglect your scalp. And the scalp are way more important than our hair strands, because thats where the hair grow. My scalp are generally dry and flaky. So i need this treatment weekly to quench the thirst of my scalp. Anyway, I hope you girls learn something.

Apart from cutting my sister's fringe and boyfie's hair, I cute bestie's bangs too! She never had them. The story was funny. One day, bestie watched tv. Then lady gaga appears. Bestie loves lady gaga's bangs! Then, she turn to another channel. And she saw another celebrity with bansg! So, what did bestie do? She went to the toilet on a slow sunday, and cut her fringe! See what television can do to other young generations?! Haha! So, she had lunch with me one day and showed me those. I was hysterical it was so funny especially with the story. So, she came by and i helped her trim the bangs off! She never had bangs in her entire life! tHIS IS NEW! ROCK IT GIRL! MAKE IT WORK!

Elseve Damage Care: As you know, I had my haircut. There are still curls on my hair, but minimal. So, I needed to still take care of it because there are still chemicals on it. PLUS, I need to blow-dry my hair everyday so that it would appeal straight. So, i need this intensive mask for intensive HAIR CARE! 

System Professional Platinum Gloss: Highly recommended by my hairstylist. She claims that because I still have my curls on, and blow-drying it would make my bob very frizzy and dry. So, this product will tame the frizziness plus create gloss on my hair for a shinier and healthier finish.

Asience Essence Water: I will be blow-drying my hair everday, so I need a formula which will protect my hair from all the damage. So, as I was cutting my hair, I read that this product will protect the hair from heat damage. BINGO! So, i went and bought it.

Asience Essence Water can be:

1) as a pre-styling treatment to protect from blow-drying damage

2) to nourish and soften hair instantly

3) to make hair more manageable

Anybody heard of it? or came across it? Or even experience it? I curled my hair back in Bangkok in Nov 2008, and my hair seem to absorb the chemicals really well. Its not bad thing but till now, after 6 months, my curly hair is getting curlier! Apart from my natural straight hair grew about 4 inch, I was waiting for my hair to loose the curls so I could cut and do a new look! Now, my colleague told me about hair relaxing. I cut my bf hair! I was playing with his long hair, and he said he want to cut his hair..and was wondering if i could do it..I was up for the challenge..so, yes, i layered his hair n trims it to thin.. HAHA! BOY! I can CUT! I didnt take d before pic..but this is after you guys!...hahahahah!        

I came across this page as I read the Australia's WoolWorths Good Taste Magazine on recipes and tips( my sisters always come home yearly to bring these magazines home from Brissie), and I saw this page! Instantly, I want to take picture so I could share with you guys. Now, I am going to enlarge all the pictures for your reading convinience. :)

These are the things which I either buy in the month of MARCH or I have been using it and wanting to share with you ladies.So here we go!

My March Favourites are:

1.aKne Pore Treatment Lotion. Initially I used Vichy Active Anti-imperfection concentrate. It works really well especially when I broke out terribly after using MAC studio fluid and saw the good result. But it cost $29 for only 15ml. So, I went to guardian and planned to get one again since i ran out of it. This sales lady introduce me to this brand. I was skeptic of it personally looking at the packaging. But I got 150ml for $19.80 only! It is written on the box- It reduces excess oil of T zone and controls sebum secretion.It also regains pores astringency and reinforces moisture-keeping ability of cells. And you knnow what? It works! As good as Vichy! OMG! my HOLY GRAIL!

2. L'oreal Anti-Breakage Hair Mask. I mask my hair once a week. All i did was shampoo then i squeeze the water out, apply GENEROUS amount of mask on your hair massage the scalp and tie it. Wait for an hour, then rinse with the coldest water you can stand and that is when my hair feels the most softest ever. HIGHLLY RECOMMEND.

3. St Ives Apricot Scrub. I am not sure whether my blackheads or whiteheads are gonem but they do reduce. I scrub my face after exfoliating on a hot tub of water covered with towel, then I scrub it lightly twice. My face feels so smooth I am in love with this product!

4. MAC Rubenesque Paint Pot. I was disapointed the fact that I could not get a nude eye base like soft ochre or painterly in SGP. So, i used rubenesque paint pot for almost every eye look. EVEN BLUE e/s. And I have to give is 2 thumbs up! Not only it prevents my lids from creasing, but it boost just about any colour I pack on it. AMAZING!

5. MAC Intenso Mineralize Blush. I could not express more about this blush. I am in love with many blush. From drugstores to departmental stores and even MAC sheertone blushers. But nothing compared to this. It smells a subtle cherry smell, and the application is so easy. The pigmentation is great, and it last for HOURS! At $44, its worth every penny.

6. Nivea LipCare in Velvet Rose. This is my third stick. I have been using this since I was back in school and just came to realise that I love it. It moisturises my lips. No wetness or stickiness, which makes it all easy to apply anywhere anytime!(Wow, i sound like some COVERGIRL ad...ahahha!)

7. MAC 217 Brush. I assume this is everybody's favorite. It blends easily and well. Hands down to this magNIFICO product.

8. MAC 109 Brush. I LOVE this brush. It gave me such flawless skin! It has to be applied lightly because from my experience, I am very hard on things, personally I am not the soft type of girls, so I cam across fall out of the bristles when I swirl on my face. It was devastating. I kept conditioning it and with light application, its perfect.

9. Cosmetic Sponge. This won a tough battle with 109 brush. It is simple to apply, flawless result and it sort of dilute the foundation making your face look much natural. I used it this morning and I was so happy with the result. I am putting my other brushes to rest because of this inexpensive sponges!

10. BodyShop Body Lotion in Cherry Blossom. My bf love this smell. If I put it on, he will smell me like I am some kind of flower. Haha! Not only it smells sooo good, it moisturizes my dry skin too. But the only thing bad about it is the smell wont last. But i still dig it!
