It does not take more than 04 colours to create that eyelook. It can consist of a lid, highlight, deep crease and crease colour. You can wish to add more type of colours however you can never go wrong with these 04 different colours or shades for your eyes. I am out of touch with purchasing eyeshadows for a while since i met NAKED palette. I don't seem to need to buy anymore. However, this is the best post to share what eyeshadows you love so that we all could go to the stores, swatch it and get to know colours which we will never even look upon. So heres mine :)
4 colours which i can never go wrong. Any type of occasion, these colours are sufficient for my day to day basis. Day or night.
1. Mac sable to darkern my crease.
2. Mac Soft brown for contouring on lazy days. It gives a nice subtle warm coral to my crease area.
3. Mac Expensive Pink is one of the best colours any olive skintone girl could have. Its coral pink with gold sheen to it. No shimmers i promise. Great for my lid colours or an all over wash of colour for lazy days.
4. Of course, i have to have a highlight colour. This is the BH Cosmetics warm matte in no. 16. I highlight on a daily basis. So this give me a nice fix. Matte and certainly bright!
