This was a review i should have done long time ago but anyways, here it is!

I was invited to the session Elizabeth Arden PR team organized. They introduced us bloggers to these products- Ceramide Ultra Lipstick and the Ceramide Ultra Lift and Firm Make Up SPF15. It is one of their newest product launched recently in Singapore.

A little introduction about these products if you are curious,

Product Claims

  • Ceramide Triple Complex helps strengthen and retexturize skin's appearance, and hold vital skin-plumping moisture within the skin. Skin feels ultra smooth, replenished and comfortable.
  • Innovative color technology provides long wearing comfort and luminosity
  • Calibrated microspheres deliver precision color that lasts all day. Polymer-coated pigments promote skin soothing, comfortable, color true coverage."

Cermadie Ultra Lift & Firm Make Up SPF 15 is my first foundation which is packaged in a jar. My shade is, Beige 06.It has a watery mousse formula that glides nicely on my skin.We were given the sponge applicator to apply the foundation with and i was excited not knowing what to expect. Aside from the applicator, the foundation to me is rather sheer although the product claimed that it is medium to full coverage. If you can tell from my picture above, on my first application i can still see my redness and spots on my face. I tried applying second layer and then i can see a little more coverage. The foundation has no distinct smell to it. It does have a dewy finish to it. It does feel rather lightweight but depending on the amount of product applied. The long lasting of the product is average. Lasting till a good 6 hour before i get oily. I belive this foundation is better targeted to women of the age 30 and above. Since I am 25 i dont think this foundation is a must have as the finish and the coverage can be duped by many drugstore product.

For the sponge applicator. I dont like it. I am not used to it i guess the sponge is rather firm and does not spread my foundation nicely. Somehow it gave me streaks. So i used my foundation brush instead.

On to the lipstick, first and foremost, did i told you i love the packaging? Its gold and sophisticated! It is quite heavy than many of my lipstick and i love the lipstick i chose which is, coral vibrations. The lipstick is super duper pigmented. It is the most pigmented lipstick i have come across. Product Claims:

Ceramide Triple Complex helps strengthen and retexturize skin's appearance and hold vital skin-plumping moisture within the skin. Lips look fuller and younger. Contours seem more defined

Features & Benefits

  • Ultra brilliant color and radiant shine
  • Lips feel moisturized for up to 20 Hours
  • Infused with Volulip, a new ultra plumping agent, so lips appear fuller and more plumped
  • Reduces appearance of vertical lines on lips
  • Sooths,protects and preserves lips
  • Plumps lips with moisture enriched pigmnents

On to application, it is creamy so applying on my lips is no problem and it has a nice sheen to it which seemed like its moisurized, but when i apply on my lips, a few hours later, it looked like the picture below.

The pigments settle on my chapped lips. It shows the creases of my lips and it is not at all moisturized. I do love the fact that the colour still does not fade from my lips. Maybe the product does not suit well with my lips because not all lips are the same. So I could correct this outcome by scrubbing my lips entirely to remove all dead cells and use a chapped lip balm before applying this lipstick my lips.

So i hope this helps you should you want to find reviews on these products.

Disclaimer:

EA gave me this product to review on my blog and i am not paid. Thats all now :)

xoxo!

Looking FRESH yet with little make up...

There are definitely days where we just want to lay back and not apply too much make up. Wearing our essentials and walk out of the door. Well, this is how my laid back look looks like, I know for some might be abit too much. But if you see the products i used, I really did not use that much! Apart from putting my short bob back, I had my make up cut down as well...

Now lets start with the face. Due to powder foundation, I applied my M AC Studio FIx concealer in NW25 prior to applying a light dust of Elizabeth Arden Mineral Loose Powder in Shade 05. Now, I usually would wear liquid foundation, but because i was lazy, applying powder with a huge kabuki brush was effortless.

When I wanna make me look like I am all made up, bolding and shapiung my eyebrows merely perfect is important because it frames my round face and I want them to get the attention rather than my tired dark circles which will be revealed after 6 hours later. I applied the Chunpai Eyepencil in Brown bought at Palz @ Far East Plaza. Not forgetting my stage sands concealer to conceal unwanted lines on my brows. And my lovely mascara, MAybelline Turbo Boost. Now, remember I want to keep it simple? I took my huge powder brush and brushed MAC Cheeky Bronze all over my face contouring my cheekbones and a touch of MAC brave new bronze lipstick and Nature's Republic Lipstick in or207 on my lips to give me the coral but nude finish!

Simple enough? Maybe you can try it too!

XOXO!

Happy Vesak day my dearest!!!

(the weather was really hot..i swear)

Hope you like the video!

For Elizabeth Arden Event,

We were invited to TWG, Orchard ION and I was rather surprise, the number of bloggers who attended the event was very little. But nonetheless, it was a great event. I was having fun talking to Helene and Caroline on many topics out of the ordinaire. haha! I remembered she asking me, "how does it feel to blog?" i answered "LOVE." Its all love huney. Without it, i can never bring myself to update this blog. I even talked to Joey on the products and also (election) many other more topics and i love hoe everybody could connect with each other. Also, shout out to Tiffany for being such a darl. Very kind and sweet she was. I was having so much fun. Not forgetting the food was fantastic. Amazing spectacular venue ,EA team!

On to what we were introduced, they are two of their newly launched products, and they are the Ceremadi Ultra Lipstick and the Ceramide Ultra Lift and Firm Make Up SPF15. I will talk more about the foundation when I have received it. As of now, I would love to talk about the experience we had. It was fresh because we were suppose to try these lipstick, take a picture, and it will be posted up on Facebook. And the blogger with the highest like buttion , will win an EA Hamper. Exciting huh! Well, it was all for the fun of it! I got my picture taken and I love the lipstick. Although I have to say at the end of the day I had chapped lips. So it was troublesome for me to apply this lipstick smoothly. My lips was flaky. It really was. I think i want to invest on a good lipbalm/scrub.

Recommend me please!!!

Back to the product, they are just very pigmented, super creamy, almost reminds m of my MUFE Rouge artist intense lipstick. Only thing is that this lipstick is more moisturising. I am not in a good posittion to judge because I applied it less than 02 hours, so I might be wrong about the product. This is basically what I wanna share with you. Hoe you enjoy this post!
