Nowadays, i find myself drawn to face shop alot. i was with my gay bestie the other day and we went crazy in the shop. He got himself some mask and i got myself..urm..nothing. Anyway, i liked how the shop is very friendly and how the sales assist are very welcoming and very resourceful. But i have to agree with everyone when we conclude that it annoys us that the sales assist tag us around the shop and even hard sell to us. It was practically hard to say no to an item, especially when my bestie was so caught up with so many products in one basket. Haha! So, i looked upon the stuff he got from the sales assist takeing advantage of him, he went and paid one mask only. haha! OoOops! Anyway, I was inspired to do this review as you know not many people buy face shop cosmetics and since i have already gotten the,m, might as well i share for your future shoppings! :)

First up, is the Stick Eyeshadow. They are selling at $9.90, and they won Beauty Editor's choice award. Its really cheap, and they work the same function as MAC shadestick does. This do not need to be warmed up as it is very creamy on its own. I got it in Golden Brown as i needed a base for my gold eyeshadows. It came off somewhat bronzy and has glitters on it. It is easy to apply and remove. Does not have any distinct smell. I actually like this. They do crease as it only serves a great base for any colour to be VIVA-LA-VOOO! It adds more OOmph to your eyeshadow layered on top of it. I used pink as well, and i love how my matte pink eyeshadow has a nice sheen.
My take:
Now, the stickshadow is great as a base and also on its own. But, i find myself having fall outs of glitter on my cheeks when i roll the pen on my eyes. Its only a fleck of it. Not too much of it though. Other than that, i find this stickshadow rather useful on my eye applications. Its almost liek NYX jumbo pencil, only better. Below, you see I have layered amber light eyeshadow on it to show you the differences of application. On the right hand side, amber light seem more bright with reflects and has a nice sheen to it. And on the left hand side is a more subtle amber light. So yeah. I definitely will use this under any golden eyeshadows i have :)

Would I buy it again? For such price and quality, I don't mind.
Secondly is the eyeshadow. I was finding something to duplicate MAC black tied. And I saw this in the shop and got it as there are a 20% off. When i first swatched it in the store, I was bewildered by how pigmented this eyeshadow was! It was amazing! I surely did not expect it to be. So, I got it and brought it home and try. The texture on the pan is so velvety soft. Great pigmentations and i love how the packaging is so close to Shu Uemura Eyeshadow. It looks chic and trendy. This kind of packaging will never be outdated, I dare say.
My take:
If you can see on both the swatches i took picture of, I was very shocked. Where the shimmers go? On the pan, the eyeshadow is rich with blue glitters. That is why i bought it in the first place. When I swatched it, the colour is great and pigmented, but the glitter do not show off easily. Even when i pack with colours, it is still the same. It is almost matte. I was disappointed in that aspects. But hey, the great part of the eyeshadows are that they aren't too shimmery on our eyes. That would make alot of ladies happy because majority of us tend to hate shimmers on our eyes. So it does not bother me at the most part, but i wished it was more shimmery as I planned to get a shimmery black eyeshadow.
